The Beetzsee, the lake just outside of Brandenburg, is frozen solid in our temps that are hovering around 20*F during the day and about 0*F at night. This is a view of the frozen lake. I am standing on it about 20 feet from the shore behind me. I went walking with Katrin C and her 2 daughters on the lake and it was a great experience. I've never been on a frozen lake before!

I just finished catching up on all of the blogs I've missed. It sounds like you've been up to some crazy antics lately! I can't wait to continue reading about your trials and tribulations as a drama teacher. ;) I'm sorry it was infeasible for us to get together over the holidays! I miss you and I'm sending you all of the warmth I possibly can!
