I'm still here

After a year of not blogging, I'm not sure what is motivating me to blog again. I am no longer a teacher. I am not in Europe. I no longer have amusing anecdotes from exotic vacation spots or German kids learning English.

I am however, work at a theatre in Maine. "Theatre?" you say. "I understand that, but in MAINE?" "Yes" say I. "Maine". I like Maine, I like theatre. Why not combine the two? I have sold my soul to the intern company of Portland Stage. I've been here since August and I stay til the end of May. I hope they'll return my soul to me at that point. I think I might need it eventually.

After Maine I head to Georgia Shakespeare again, but this time with a promotion to ASM for 2 shows and I get to SM my own show! I'll be there through at least Nov 1. After that, we'll see where fate takes this wandering theatrical nomad.

This is a short post, but maybe it's the opening of the doors for more posts again in the future.
